My name is E P Wohlfart. I am an independent ancient historian with diverse interests, from coins to weapons and queens to curses, and a minor obsession with cultures that are spelled with a hyphen. I have always been a writer and a researcher, but I finally decided to leave the academic path and write full time because I found that what I was most passionate about was bridging the gap between academia, with all of its jargon and prerequisite reading, and the popular reader. I have a degree in classical archaeology and a background working in heritage education. I have participated on excavations in the Caucasus and in the Middle East and I am a published archaeological photographer. Now I run my own freelancing business. |
